Eisinhower Rincon Vargas

Senior Geospatial Developer

I am a hydrologist and scientific software developer. With a Ph.D. in Water Sciences from INRS-ETE, my research focuses on building physically-based, spatially-explicit models to simulate hydrological processes across large areas, particularly in data-sparse regions. I design custom algorithms to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets from remote sensing, climate models, and field observations, with the goal of informing sustainable water resource management and conservation strategies. My work is centered on creating practical tools for understanding and protecting water resources in a changing climate, with a particular emphasis on subarctic environments.
